stageClix Presentation Kit

Where the stageClix Pack is a must have for many musicians, it surely offers the best solution for presentation and broadcast purposes as well ...

Silence is sexy

The first thought that crossed my mind after unpacking the stageClix Jack was: "wow, this thing is small". Closely followed by: "wow, there’s only one button". Two minutes later (including unpacking my guitar) I found myself running around the table in my living room while playing my guitar.

After this first impression I did some tests to check if there is any difference between the stageClix and a cable sound wise. I didn’t find any. Since no problems occurred using the wireless system in the rehearsal space I started to use it at gigs. The result: I wouldn’t want to miss my stageClix for a single gig now.

What amazes me is that most wireless systems still work with disposable batteries. Batteries are good enough for advanced phones and laptops these days but manufacturers of wireless systems don’t seem to care about the environment and still give you the advice to use a fresh battery every gig. StageClix gives me 15 hours of battery life from rechargable batteries. After two months of very regular use I never experienced an empty battery. That’s also due to the quick charger that is built in to the receiver: one hour charging means another four hours of play.

My conclusion: if you are looking for a wireless system for your bass or guitar you should definitely check out the stageClix jack.
